Meet Bijay Giri
Dear respected guests greetings and warm welcome to Wildlife Adventure Tours. I'm Glad to see you here. Let me tell you a bit about myself. My name is Bijay Giri and I am a native of Chitwan. I have always dreamed of becoming a Nature Guide at Chitwan National Park and after years of experience as a guide, together with a group of nature guides, I founded Wildlife Adventure Tours officially in 2012.
Chitwan National Park is my backyard, my passion and my life. I live to observe, protect and share our natural habitat. Caring for the park as well as the surrounding community is a top priority for me. For this reason, I fund, participate and support regular initiatives that protect the natural environment, support local communities as well as sanitation projects. Respect for nature, the environment and the community in which I live, is woven into the very fabric of who I am, and I strongly believe that my livelihood and that of my community depend on the wellbeing of the park.
Today, I pride myself in being the founder of Wildlife Adventure Tours, a conservationist, bird watcher, wildlife photographer, social philanthropist, and most of all a senior wildlife nature guide. When I am not sharing the park with my guests, I still enjoy my free time in nature, doing bird watching, wildlife photography and social work. I love connecting with people, and speak English, Chinese, Hindi as well as local Nepali dialects. I am also a life member of the Bird Education Society and a General Member of Nature Guide Association of Nepal.
I am sure your story is as intriguing as mine. I look forward to getting to know you and sharing with you the wonder of Chitwan National Park. I am sure you’ll be amazed! So, I would like to welcome all of you to visit Chitwan National Park at least once in a lifetime. Looking forward to meeting you...
Dhanyabad (Thank You)
Our guides are a mix of passionate naturalists and trekkers, who live and breathe the outdoor adventure life. They use their extensive nature and trekking training to safely lead groups on adventures in the wildlife, as well as pursue personal outdoor challenges.
Safety is always the number one priority for us, and we are proud to be the leading company when it comes to staff training and quality tourism in Chitwan. We require all of our guides to undergo extensive safety training before officially joining us as nature and/or trekking guides. This ensures that whether you want to take an easy jungle walk tour or embark on a once in a lifetime challenge, our professional and knowledgeable guides are qualified to lead you on a safe and fun adventure.
Many of our guides come from different parts of Chitwan, they know the area and animals like the palm of their hand. English is the primary guiding language but together, our guides can speak a good number of languages.
You Are in Safe Hands
